Are you an organised and efficient administrator with some experience in the steel trading industry? Do you want to work for a leading company that imports various steel products from around the world into UK and Ireland? Do you have excellent Excel skills and attention to detail? As an administrator, you will perform a range of tasks, including:
- Releasing call offs and reconciling credit accounts for customers
- Invoicing rebar and reconciling stock with ports
- Loading purchase and sales orders on Oracle system
- Custom clearing imports and keeping customers advised on their orders
- Scanning and issuing sales contracts and test certs to customers
- Checking and tracking supplier invoices
- Covering for others in the office in loading orders etc
- Office admin tasks such as ordering stationery, taking post to the Post Office, booking couriers, etc
- Issuing reports to directors if requested
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Some experience as an administrator in the steel trading industry, or a willingness to learn
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software
- Some accounts background would be helpful
- Good communication and strong personality
- Reliable team player and willing to help out with other tasks
- Can do attitude and self-motivation
We offer a standard employment contract with a 9 to 5:30 working hours and 5 days per week.
