We're looking for a Junior Resource Manager to join Sky Creative on a 12 month FTC and support in coordinating resource across all creative teams, from Strategy, Advertising and Promo Creative through to Retouching and Design. You'll forward plan, schedule and monitor the resource allocations & respective budgets whilst supporting the Creative Resource Manager in the day-to-day duties and admin of resourcing of design for your workstream. What you’ll do:
- Day to day updating of resource rotas, managing work allocation to ensure efficient delivery of all projects running through your workstream.
- Engage and contract freelance staff as per Sky’s HR policies, proactively building on the existing talent pool.
- Onboarding freelancers and being across the recruitment process from start to finish. This includes raising new starter forms, liaising with freelancers regarding their rates and any other concerns in the on-boarding process.
- Assisting to ensure projects are tracked to allocated budget, currency and timelines through excellent use of our resource management tool and timesheet completion and accuracy
- Liaising with colleagues in Production and Account Management to efficiently plan and resource projects efficiently and build an accurate resource schedule across the year.
- Maintain team documents including resource schedule, project, budget and freelance trackers.
What you’ll bring:
- One year’s worth of experience at an agency / in house/ broadcast company with solid understanding of the creative process.
- Great attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Solid knowledge of MS Office.
- Experience with resourcing software tools ideal but not necessary
- Eagerness and willingness to learn with a passion for the work.
- Ability to respond quickly and efficiently to multiple requests and frequent changes in resourcing schedules.
