We are currently recruiting for an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join this established hotel kitchen team. Previous experience within a rosette-level setting would be ideal though not essential with the right attitude.
This is a permanent role.

As the Junior Sous Chef you will be required to:
- Assist the Head Chef with menu planning, rota changes, staff training and stock control.
- Consistently maintain high standards of food service and provision to meet the expectations of the guests.
- Ensure that the methods of preparation and presentation comply with current recognised catering standards and those implemented by the Head Chef.
- Take operational control, including supervision of all kitchen staff as required by the Head Chef
- Work with the Head Chef to ensure that effective induction, supervision and appraisals of the team are carried out and that training needs are identified and met.
To apply you must:
- Have experience cooking with fresh produce from scratch.
- Hold Level 2 Food Hygeine certificate.
- Be enthusiastic, focused and committed.
