We are looking for a sous chef to join our Indigo Yard Branch, to support the head chef in daily tasks, to lead, inspire and motivate the team in the same fashion as the head chef, having a great focus on team building and developing younger members of the team, helping to drive the business forward and prosper.
Experience:
- Sous chef: 1 year (Preferred)
- Chef de partie: 4 years (Preferred)
Job Duties:
- Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
- Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift
- Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards
Additional Duties:
- Menu planning
- Food shopping
- Recording food temperatures
- Preparing reports
