M&E Quantity Surveyors
Location: Kildare, Cork, Coventry, London, and Limerick
We are currently seeking M&E Quantity Surveyors for a range of projects in the UK and Ireland, spanning different sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Healthcare, Education, Commercial, and Power Generation.
Positions Available:
1. M&E Quantity Surveyor – Kildare – Intel Project
2. M&E Quantity Surveyor – Cork – Commercial fit-out project
3. M&E Quantity Surveyor – Coventry – Pre-fabrication facility
4. Senior Quantity Surveyor – London – Police HQ & Court house
5. CSA Quantity Surveyor – Limerick – Pharma Project
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Be a team player and show a willingness to learn all aspects of mechanical and electrical systems, and general construction aspects.
- Take ownership and responsibility for defined scope of work.
- Measure from plan drawings and isometrics to produce fully priced detailed bills of quantities including labor hours and material costs.
- Track costs and labor throughout the project.
- Carry out full construction take-offs, prepare construction cost plans, and track costs and labor efficiency throughout the project.
- Provide timely and accurate CCS submissions each month.
- Prepare valuation and agreement of certification each month end.
- Prepare assessments/payment certs/payless notices for subcontractors each month.
- Produce timely and accurate cash flow submissions each month.
- Ensure the final account is agreed within a specific project timeline.
- Prepare subcontract packages for procurement, agree contracts, and manage through to the final account.
- Strive to get a comprehensive understanding of tasks assigned and seek continuous improvement.
- Research RICS competencies and actively work towards development in these areas.
- Be proactive in seeking guidance from senior QS in areas of development.
- Focus on continuous improvement by actively seeking out opportunities to aid development.
- Request regular feedback from senior QS regarding tasks completed.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
