SalaryAcademics a Doncaster based Teaching agency are actively supporting local Primary schools with various supply needs across Key Stage 2. Helping Education and training in Doncaster. Key Stage 2 KS2 Primary Teacher, Supply Doncaster School needed for regualr supply work.
Key Stage 2 KS2 Primary Teacher, Supply Doncaster School needed for regular supply roles, but we also have increased needs for longer term placements as well.
Academics aim to support local Primary Schools with candidates who are passionate, warm, caring, nurturing and sensitive individual with a desire to ensure all children progress and reach their full potential. Trials and interviews being arranged for longer term roles but for ad hoc supply and short term bookings we do require the candidates to reigster fully with Academics to be able to complete work within the schools we support to ensure we work in line with DFE and safer recruitment guidance and KCSIE guidance as well.
The role will require the candidate to be dressed proffessional, have good time keeping and when placed to mark in line with school policies. We require our candidates to have knoweldge of the KS2 curriculum is essential and recent experience in of working in Y4, Y5 and Y6 is desirable and would be advantageous. Experience of working to support pupils with SATs as well and interventions around this.
Many of Academics schools that we partner with are within good transport links. Ideally we are seeking a creative and calm candidate to work within our client schools, someone who is striving to ensure sucess for all. We have specific supply roles for Key Stage 1 specialist amongst other year groups.
Within this role there will be a focus on English, Maths and Science, SPAG, Phonics, Maths and a focus on promoting and encouraging more independance of learning for pupils when placed, but as a supply teacher often the work is in place. This is a really exciting Key Stage to work within as you get to help pupils grow in a variety of core area including coordination of laguage and speech and writing. We aim to try and place our supply candidates back in the same schools where possible too so you can develop and build on the relationships with students and staff.
Ideal candidates need to hold a enhanced valid DBS or enhanced DBS on the update service. Or be willing to process a new one via Academics. The candidate is subject to relevant compliance and vetting before being able to work for Academics which the team here in the Doncaster branch are happy to guide you through.
