AddressArdingly College is seeking to appoint a Kitchen Assistant to support a busy kitchen and front of house within the catering department. Jobs will vary from prepping fresh ingredients for cooking to helping serve food in front of house and supporting the kitchen porter’s team. The ability to be innovative and creative in your cooking is key for this role. This role is offered on a Fixed term basis for 3 months with the possibility of extension.
The post holder must be aware of current food trends whilst maintaining correct levels of Food Safety and Health and Safety.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience working in a similar high-volume environment, possess excellent customer service skills and be able to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative. Working hours are 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7.
Rate of pay: £10.90/hour.
