Position:Kitchen Porter
Location: Manchester City Centre
Salary: £22,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables and portioning ingredients
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a safe and organized workspace
- Handle deliveries, unpacking and storing goods in designated areas
- Support the kitchen team with ad-hoc tasks as required to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is beneficial but not essential; we welcome applicants with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings
