Job Title: Unqualified Support Worker for Children in Educational Setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting Independence: Assist children in developing essential life skills, fostering independence in daily activities.
• Engagement and Interaction: Engage positively with children through activities such as day trips, games, and educational support, creating a supportive and inclusive environment.
• Time Management: Manage free time effectively, providing guidance and facilitating activities that enhance the overall well-being of the children.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and nurturing atmosphere for both staff and pupils.

Working Conditions:

• Location: Ilkeston and surrounding areas
• Setting: Educational - Schools, community centres, libraries etc
• Age Range: KS3, KS4, the odd post-16
• Contract Type: Full-time permanent position
• Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 3 pm

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualifications Needed: Entry Level Role (no qualifications needed))
• Training: Full training provided, including a week-long program with ongoing support.
• Opportunities You will be offered a Level 3 teaching assistant qualification if you don't already have one after 6 months. When you complete your teaching assistant course you will receive a pay rise of £2,000.

Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
