COMPANY
Our client is a well-established specialist pharmaceutical business based in Cheshire. This GLP accredited organisation are now looking to add a Lab Technician to their team, a fantastic role enabling someone to gain experience with a wide range of pharmaceutical analytical techniques and methods.
POSITION
As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for:
• Using a wide range of testing techniques including HPLC, GC, ethanol testing and KF.
• Working on a number of short term and long term analytical projects
Supporting analytical scientists in performing analysis on raw materials, components, in-process, finished product and stability samples, as per relevant analytical specifications and procedures
• Carry out routine sampling of raw materials and component samples in accordance with relevant procedures
• Complete documentation associated with laboratory functions in line with GMP
• Assist in day to day running of the laboratory to implement priorities and workloads as indicated by the team leader
• Conduct all work in, and maintain, the laboratory in a clean and safe condition
The ideal candidate for the Lab Technician role will have:
• A BSc in Chemistry or related subject
• Ideally some previous industrial lab experience
• Knowledge of HPLC is essential
