COMPANY
Our client is a well-established specialist pharmaceutical business based in Cheshire. This GLP accredited organisation are now looking to add a Lab Technician to their team, a fantastic role enabling someone to gain experience with a wide range of pharmaceutical analytical techniques and methods.
POSITION
As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for:
•Using a wide range of testing techniques including HPLC, GC, ethanol testing and KF.
•Working on a number of short term and long term analytical projects
Supporting analytical scientists in performing analysis on raw materials, components, in-process, finished product and stability samples, as per relevant analytical specifications and procedures
•Carry out routine sampling of raw materials and component samples in accordance with relevant procedures
•Complete documentation associated with laboratory functions in line with GMP
•Assist in day to day running of the laboratory to implement priorities and workloads as indicated by the team leader
•Conduct all work in, and maintain, the laboratory in a clean and safe condition
The ideal candidate for the Lab Technician role will have:
•A BSc in Chemistry or related subject
•Ideally some previous industrial lab experience
•Knowledge of HPLC is essential
