Job Title: Labourer (Solar installations)

Salary: £25,000+ private healthcare including family cover + pension

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm, Friday 7am to 3pm

Length of contract: Permanent full-time

Location of job: Domestic & Small Commercial sites across Northern Ireland.

Reporting to: Technical Manager

We enjoy a large and ever-growing share of both domestic & commercial solar markets in Northern Ireland and have expanded rapidly over the last three years. We are the preferred installer for a number of industry leading manufacturers such as Duracell, Puredrive, SolarEdge, Solis, JA Solar, Tesla and Qcells. We specialise in the supply, design & installation of solar PV and energy storage systems for domestic & commercial clients with a very strong focus on customer service and design quality. Summary of role:

As a result of continued expansion, we are seeking an enthusiastic & energetic labourer to work as part of a three-man team along with a roofer & electrician to install solar PV, battery storage & EV charging systems. The role will be based primarily on sites across Northern Ireland with infrequent work in ROI or UK and will involve mainly domestic & small commercial sized systems. Full product specific training will be provided for the equipment we install, and the health & safety equipment used on site. Company uniform will be provided. You will commute to our office in Mallusk daily then travel to site in company van. On site you will represent our company values at all times. Taking the lead in erecting & dismantling various health & safety measures, helping the roofer to load panels to the roof, helping the electrician to lift heavy items such as batteries into place & pulling cables in, ensuring the client is kept updated before, during & after the installation, ensuring the site is left tidy, loading & unloading equipment into vans back at our store.

Essential Criteria

- Valid CSR card or willing to attain this qualification upon employment starting

- Comfortable working at heights with appropriate H&S measures in place

- An interest in developing a career in the Solar industry

- Full, clean driving license

- A clear criminal record

- Excellent time management and organisational skills

- Positive and can-do attitude

- A good team player

- Able to work under pressure

- Ability to commute to our office in Mallusk, company van will be used for travelling to and from installation location

- Willing to undertake extensive manufacturer training on various products and H&S systems

- Willing to attend very occasional trade or home improvement shows

- Willing to work away from home in UK or ROI with overnight stays very occasionally

Desirable Criteria

- MWEP, PASMA and Telehandler qualifications or willing to obtain upon employment

- experience of working in domestic properties

- Experience of using a CRM system such as Salesforce

- Experience in a similar role and company

- Good geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland

- Working at Heights qualification
