These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council. *

Lady who used to love knitting, loves jigsaw puzzles and her garden seeks a Personal Assistant for companionship and encouragement of independency. She has a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s.
Support required:
· Companionship
· Encouragement and prompting for independent living
· Meal preparation
· Collect prescriptions
· Light cleaning
Hourly rate of pay: £15
Hours per week: 6 hours per week
Schedule: 2 hours 2/3 days a week – preferably around midday however days and times can be discussed at the interview stage
Essential:
· Driving Licence
· Must be self-employed
· Valid DBS
· Public Liability Insurance
· Experience with Alzheimer’s/dementia
