My client are seeking an L&D Business Partner to lead their learning and development projects and initiatives. This role involves the design, delivery, and evaluation of training within our organisation’s learning framework, ensuring that all training activities are coordinated and records are meticulously maintained. The successful candidate will act as a key link between management, operational employees, and external partners, driving the L&D strategy in alignment with business objectives.
Day to Day of the role:- Design, deliver, and evaluate training sessions within the organisational learning framework.
- Create and design engaging L&D training programmes that support operational and management teams.
- Communicate data and metrics to inform and support managers and teams in progress and succession planning.
- Prioritise training needs to ensure the business meets targets for the year.
- Ensure the L&D function offers a quality, cost-effective service.
- Research new learning activities and review current training offerings to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Design training for all roles, identifying both mandatory and non-essential training that supports business needs.
- Review training and development records, identify training needs, and address skills & knowledge gaps.
- Coordinate appropriate training for current colleagues in line with their roles.
- Implement training schedules, establish review dates, and arrange further training as required.
- Advise managers on training requirements and review L&D interventions for various competencies.
- Source and arrange internal and external training to address competency gaps.
- Monitor training KPIs, prepare reports on training costs, budget, and delivery of courses/qualifications.
- Evaluate the feedback and effectiveness of all training and development.
- Support the administration of the L&D Learning Management System and ensure accurate colleague records.
- Assist with the Apprenticeship strategy and ensure development opportunities are identified and resourced.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Proven experience in Learning & Development, particularly in designing and delivering training programmes.
- Strong understanding of L&D best practices and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse data and metrics to inform training strategies.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems and maintaining accurate training records.
- Ability to work collaboratively with managers and external partners.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
