Lead Data Analyst - GBP67,500 - London (Hybrid)

My client, a forward thinking, leading public service provider are on the lookout for two new Lead Data Analysts to come and join their existing team in senior roles. These positions will play a pivotal role in shaping our data analytics strategy and driving insights that inform key business decisions. You will lead a team of analysts (up to 20 members), collaborating closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand business objectives and deliver impactful data-driven solutions.

This role will be based from my clients London office (N1 postcode) and would require office travel twice per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Data Analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster professional growth and development.
• Oversee the end-to-end process of data analysis, from data collection and cleansing to interpretation and presentation of insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into actionable analytical tasks.
• Develop and implement advanced analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights and drive business value.
• Utilise statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to uncover patterns, trends, and opportunities within large datasets.
• Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

• Significant demonstratable experience in Data Analytics, with experience leading a team of at least 5/6 members.
• Experience with the likes of SQL, SQL Server, Postgres, Oracle
• Visualisation tools like Qliksense & Power BI
• Programming languages - Python & R
• Azure platforms (beneficial)
• Experience managing senior stakeholders and end-to-end projects
• QGIS or ArcGIS (beneficial)
