Job description

Our esteemed client, a global leader in providing innovative and sustainability-focused design solutions, is currently seeking an L&D Assistant for the next 12 months to cover maternity leave.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a large business, based at their Head Office in Gosforth on a Fixed Term Contract, although not guaranteed this role does have the potential to go permanent.

  • 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
  • Location - Gosforth - free parking available
  • Hours - 37 hours per week
  • Salary: £25,000
  • Monday - Friday

Duties:

  • Setting up of courses, recording and reporting of attendance and learning requests.
  • Book external training courses in response to colleague requests.
  • Produce and maintain accurate records of learning and development activity.
  • Support the running of the Apprentice and Graduate programmes.
  • Monitor and analyse data from annual performance reviews.
  • Issue invitations to in-house training courses and CPD seminars, manage responses and co-ordinate catering and course documentation.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding ongoing training requirements and related issue.
  • Dealing with professional bodies.
  • Management of Apprenticeship levy.
  • Co-ordinate internal and external training programmes, including posting information about available training on intranet and issuing booking information.
  • Support with the set up and design induction programme.
  • Assist with delivery of talent management projects.
  • Provide Administrative assistance and general office support on tasks relating to learning and development and all other areas of Human Resources as required.
