Job description
Is there a more rewarding career than training?
You get to have a massive impact on someone's career and for someone like you, that's so fulfilling. You see how people grow. How they become more confident. How their life changes for the better.
Not every firm gets that. There's limited creativity. You do things the way it's always been done. It's same old same old.
Not here.
Training is front and centre of everything they do. It's why this team has great staff retention. And it's why they've set up an Academy to develop the next generation of planners.
Which is where you come in.
You'll deliver training to a variety of people. The largest group will be those new to the profession who have joined this firm's Academy. Second careerists are fresh, energetic and so enthusiastic to learn. They're people with life experience who haven't chanced on Financial Planning, it's something they know that they want to do.
You'll train them on soft skills, the advice process, technology/systems, processes and fact-finds. You'll be the one that helps them get to grips with a lot of information, setting them up for a great career.
You'll also work with established planners, all the way up to director level. This is a very different challenge but what's life without variety?
And whilst the training material is in place it isn't to say it can't be better. You'll be joining a business that doesn't just want a great deliverer of training, but someone who can shape that training. You'll have the freedom to get creative.
You'll work from home and deliver training online but also face to face. That said whilst there is some travel it's just that - some. Salary is to £55,000 plus a bonus that typically comes in at 15% of salary, making it a c£63,000 - £64,000 package. And there's a range of benefits (DIS, pension (up to 10% employer contribution), health cover etc).
It's also of note that you'll be replacing a retiring trainer. This is a team that keeps it staff. That should tell you a lot.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
You will need to have experience of creating and delivering training. In short someone who has been a trainer within Financial Planning not someone who would like to. Or someone who has trained but hasn't designed the training.
And you'll need to be level 4.
A good trainer is so important to someone's experience of a firm. Be the one to shape that experience by clicking apply. Or if you don't have an up to date CV send us a way of contacting you. We can come to the CV later.
Everyone will get a response.
