Learning Mentor (PRU) - Basildon, Essex
Remedy Education are currently looking for a very experienced Learning Mentor & Behaviour to work in an PRU in Basildon.

The PRU is a school for students that require Special Educational Needs due to their challenging behaviour. The students can often be young offenders or children that have been in and out of gangs.

Your role would be to work alongside a strong team of Learning Mentors within the provision and overlook learnings for the students of the AP whilst trying to push the students to do the best that they can academically and help students into future career paths/ further education.

The role will be full-time, starting immediately and paying competitively. The role also offers great progression with staff often employed on a permanent role and pushed up through the AP as they look to employ for promotions internally.

Ideally you will ideally have a wealth of experience as a Learning Mentor/Behaviour Mentor (preferably experience in a leadership role) and experienced in assisting students with careers.

You will need an enhanced DBS to apply for this role.
