Outreach Learning Mentor

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Outreach Learning Mentor to join our team in the Romford area. As an Outreach Learning Mentor, you will have the unique opportunity to work independently, visiting pupils in their homes for 2 hours per day, building strong relationships and providing vital support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct home visits to pupils in the Romford area for 2 hours per day, fostering positive relationships.
• Deliver tailored learning support and guidance based on individual needs.
• Develop and implement personalized learning plans to help pupils achieve their academic goals.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure a holistic approach to each pupil's development.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to both pupils and parents/guardians.
• Act as a positive role model, inspiring confidence and motivation in pupils.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young people, ideally in an educational or mentoring capacity.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with pupils and build rapport.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting young learners.
• Flexibility to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
