This newly revised role involves closely collaborating with the L&;OD team to strategize and implement learning and development activities, coordinating the delivery of L&;OD interventions with internal teams and external providers, managing logistical aspects of implementing interventions, supporting the development of a Learning Hub and enhancing the Learning Management System (LMS), engaging key stakeholders to foster a positive employee experience and promote ownership of learning, ensuring smooth delivery of all L&OD activities, adopting a project management approach to schedule L&OD activities, serving as the subject expert for the council's LMS, and acting as a bridge between internal and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and collaboration.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess a wealth of experience in coordinating and delivering learning and development initiatives, demonstrating a track record of successfully executing programs that drive organizational growth and employee development.
They should exhibit strong project management skills, adept at handling multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently, ensuring that initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are paramount, enabling the candidate to establish and nurture relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the council, fostering collaboration and alignment towards shared goals.
