We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant for a cognition & learning difficulties SEND school to provide classroom support to students with learning disabilities, ADHD, dyslexia, and other cognitive difficulties. In this role, you will: -Provide 1-on-1 and small group support to students struggling with reading, writing, math, focus, memory, and organization. -Assist teachers in modifying lessons, assignments, and materials to match students' needs, abilities, and learning styles. -Help implement personalized learning plans, IEP goals, and accommodations for assignments and assessments. -Employ specialized instructional strategies such as multisensory learning to improve student academic skills. -Foster student confidence, engagement, and independence through motivation and positive reinforcement. -Track student progress and collect learning data to inform instructional planning. The ideal candidate will possess: -Experience working with students with learning disabilities and ADHD. -Familiarity with assistive technology and learning software. -Strong communication, patience, positivity, organization, and analytical skills.
