YSA Education are currently working with a SEMH special school in the Northampton area who are looking for some experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their friendly team on a long term/permanent basis.
The role will be to work with their pupils with social emotional and mental health difficulties. You will be evolving our learners and citizens’ skills such as, their emotional intelligence, and providing them with the tools to problem solve and make their own decisions. This role focusses on inspiring our learners to meet their full potential and find a rewarding and fulfilling livelihood that supports our core theme.
The school are happy to consider applications from Youth workers and health and social care background.
The school offer an extremely supportive working environment and provide ongoing training to all their staff both temporary and permanent. There is parking onsite, and the school is accessible via public transport links.

· Experience in either social work, school based or residential care work
· Experience working with children or young adults is a must
· Experience working with SEMH / Challenging Behaviour/ EBD
· A fully enhanced child DBS or willing to obtain one through us
