Melton Primary School are looking to appoint a positive, adaptable Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting the development of children to work 1 to 1, or in small groups, with children across our school. This role is suited to current Learning Support Assistants/Teaching Assistants, HLTAs, Nursery Nurses, qualified teachers taking a career break or someone who has a genuine love of children and would like to begin a career in education (training is provided).

- be able to use your own initiative as well as to work as part of a team
- have strong inter-personal skills including the ability to use judgement and common sense
- support children in fulfilling their academic potential but recognise that school is about much more than that
