We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant who is committed to providing the highest possible standards of support to pupils within our school.  This role will be initially based at our Nursery provision (Burlington Ave, Langwith Junction, Shirebrook, Mansfield NG20 9AD).

This is an exciting opportunity to work in an established SEND provision and with a fabulous team.  This role involves assisting the teacher in the management/ preparation of resources and supporting pupils, giving adequate opportunity for developing independence, with learning activities.

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of teaching/ senior staff and within an agreed system of supervision, to implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom, including assisting with the general care, mobility and personal hygiene needs of our pupils.

This role is 37 hours per week, term-time only (following Derbyshire term dates), working - Monday 8.30am -5.00pm, Tuesday / Wednesday 8.30am - 4.30pm, Thursday / Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm
