Hays Education are working with a secondary school in North Derbyshire who are looking for Learning Support Assistants to join their team on a full-time basis asap.
Your new role
Within this role, you will be working as part of a team to support with managing behaviour and learning across KS3 and KS4. Your main duties will include assisting with academic tasks whilst also encouraging and supporting students' social, emotional, and personal development. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of the students by creating a caring and secure environment.
What you\'ll need to succeed
In order to succeed within this role, you must have recent and relevant experience within a similar position. You will have a clear understanding of students' requirements and be able to confidently support individuals by being flexible and taking a holistic approach. You must have a passion for supporting teaching and learning and be able to use your initiative whilst also working well within a team.
