30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year to cover term times The Prince’s Trust Programme is a 12-week personal development course aimed at young people 16 - 25 from a wide range of backgrounds with challenging and/or offending behaviour, learning disabilities (EHCPs) or difficult personal circumstances. The programme aims to re-engage young people and enable them to move back into mainstream education or better equip them for employment. As Learning Support Assistant, you would support young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities who are participating in the Prince’s Trust Programme. You would assist learners to access all parts of the programme through encouraging, motivating and developing strategies help them, and also help participants to manage their own behaviour. You should have experience of working with young people, with learning difficulties/disabilities and/or challenging behaviour. You will have the ability to engage and motivate young people to help them access all aspects of the Prince’s Trust programme.
