SER are working closely with an Ofsted outstanding school in the North West Kent area who are looking for Learning Support Assistants to work in their school. The school are proud to promote the development of life skills and social development as equal to academic achievement. All of our learners have EHCPs and they work towards the end goal of helping students re-integrate into mainstream learning and preparation for adulthood.

If you would like to be part of their journey to support students’ lives, the school are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join the team as part of their Ofsted rated outstanding provision. You will be working with their students who require support both during lessons and social periods.
The Learning Support Team supports students both at school and at offsite provision with their social, emotional and mental health requirements. The ideal candidate would have experience of working with school age children. An understanding of SEMH is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Candidates Must:
- Be able to commit to working the hours specified above.
- Provide an enhanced DBS registered on the update service. If you do not hold a valid DBS be willing to apply for a new DBS. The cost of a DBS is a one-off payment of £38 with an annual subscription of £13 per year to the DBS Update Service.
- If you have been a UK resident for less than 5 years, a right to work visa must be provided and a criminal background check certificate must be provided for any country resided in for 6 months or more within the past 5 years.
