We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Nursing Instructor to join our educational team. The successful candidate will have a strong nursing background and extensive experience in anatomy and physiology. This role involves delivering Level 3, Unit 3 BTEC qualifications in Anatomy and Physiology, as well as T-Levels for Health, specialising in Adult Nursing.
- Deliver high-quality instruction for Level 3, Unit 3 BTEC Anatomy and Physiology courses.
- Teach T-Level Health programs with a focus on Adult Nursing.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Stay current with developments in the nursing and healthcare fields to ensure relevant and up-to-date instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve educational outcomes and support student success.
Qualifications:
- A strong nursing background with relevant qualifications (e.g., RN, BSN, MSN).
- Extensive experience in anatomy and physiology, with a deep understanding of human biological systems.
- Previous teaching experience, preferably in a similar educational setting.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for teaching and helping students achieve their educational and career goals.

About CANDI
City Islington College is an award-winning further education college in London with centres in Holloway, Angel and Finsbury Park. The College offers a huge array of academic and vocational courses from entry levels right through to HE for young and adult learners. These include foundation learning, A-Levels, BTECs, Apprenticeships, Access to Higher Education. The College also works closely with all stakeholders and offers bespoke training and development programmes.
Our Sixth Form centre located on our Angel Campus offers over 30 A Level subjects to our students, one of the largest choices in the UK, providing high level academic study for around 1,800 students wishing to progress to university.
