We are looking to recruit a Legal Assistantto join our Will Drafting team in St Leonards, Hastings to provide advice and documents to our clients.
- Providing high quality and accurate legal advice
- To attend corporate roadshows as and when required
- Manage own caseload of Wills and LPA’s
- To proof read Wills drafted by other members of the legal team.
- To provide legal support and advice to clients in all aspects of Wills and LPA’s
- To draft associated documentation such as renunciations
- To participate in quarterly legal forum including discussing new legislation and/ or case law and reviewing Wills recently prepared
- To participate in monthly call audit including reviewing phone appointments and providing feedback
Skills and experience required to be a Will Drafter
- Previous experience of drafting Wills and LPA’s essential.
- Ideally, you will have a Law degree or STEP/CILEX qualified.
- You will be organised and efficient.
- Able to understand clients’ needs and providing solutions.
- Outstanding customer care / customer service experience
- Resilient, positive, organised and detail oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- IT literate (MS Office, internet, email systems)
