About the role
Due to continued growth we are looking for an experienced Legal Advisor/ Counsel to join our Head Office in Harrow, London. This role is office based with home working available one day per week.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Job:
- Provide a wide range of professional, strategic and operational legal advice and counsel on corporate/ commercial law, grants and regulation.
- Provide legal advice on complex contract related matters, draft, review and negotiate various commercial contracts with customers, suppliers and third parties in general.
- Working alongside other members of the wider business to assess, evaluate and undertake potential business development activities e.g. strategic partnerships and transactions.
- Work with other departments to ensure contracts and advice accurately reflects business needs and group policies.
- Keeping up to date with external best practice and developments in the law in order to maintain up to date knowledge and ensure continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile:
- English law qualified solicitor with 2 + years PQE as a legal counsel for a SME. Previous experience of the care industry would be an advantage.
- Extremely organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience developing strategic relationships and influencing stakeholders.
- Solution and outcomes oriented. Practical and pragmatic approach to combine the best legal and most commercially efficient way of dealing with issues and projects arising in each case.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills including the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and simply.
- Flexibility to engage in occasional UK travel

Salary: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
