My client, a large North West based law firm with offices throughout the UK are seeking to appoint a Legal Assistant to join their Property team in Wigan supporting both Property & Wills & Probate.
On a day-to-day basis you will be the support to both the Residential and Wills & Probate teams providing secretarial and admin support to enable them to operate at Maximum efficiency.
 
As a Legal Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Management of Legal Documents:
- Organise, safeguard, and release Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney’s, Probates, and other associated legal documents.
- Ensure the safe and confidential storage of sensitive information.
- Client and Stakeholder Interaction:
- Address queries from clients, solicitors, lenders, and estate agents.
- Maintain effective communication channels to ensure a smooth work flow
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a legal support role, particularly within Residential Conveyancing and Private Client work.
- Well-organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in relevant legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
In addition, the successful candidate can expect a salary ranging from £20-24k
