A fantastic law firm in Coventry is seeking a diligent and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Legal Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals with a passion for law to contribute to meaningful work in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to solicitors handling family and childcare cases
Assist in the preparation of legal documents, including court forms, correspondence, and client agreements
Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for case preparation
Liaise with clients, courts, and external parties to coordinate appointments, hearings, and case-related communications
Maintain accurate and organized case files, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations
Assist in client interviews and meetings, taking notes and providing follow-up support as required
Requirements:
Previous experience in a legal support role preferred, ideally in family or childcare law
Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and legal case management software
A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work
