Legal Cashier, Haywards Heath, West Sussex, office based full time (not hybrid), £35-38k for leading Solicitors. Must have strong knowledge of complying with Solicitor Accounts Rules.
Duties will involve:
- Invoicing
- Bank reconciliation
- Sales and purchase ledger
- Payments
- Client/ Office transfers
- CHAPS transfers, processing client payments, producing and checking completion statements and billing
- Receiving, checking, and paying consultant invoices
- Paying supplier invoices
- VAT returns
- Month end reporting
- Operating our case management system Actionstep
- Operating Xero
- Monthly payroll processing
- Liaising with and supporting the consultant solicitors
- Liaising with and supporting the retained team
- Dealing with client queries
- Managing outstanding debts
- Keeping records up to date and comply with Solicitors Accounts rules and VAT regulations
- Keep abreast of new rules and regulations from the SRA
- Following the file closing process to ensure client files are dealt with correctly
Legal Cashier will naturally have some good academic results, a positive work ethic, ability to work independently, meticulous eye for detail, high presentation skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Legal Cashier, Haywards Heath, is office based full time (not hybrid), £35-38k, offering 22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (rising with service), pension, health plan, free parking, and discretionary Christmas bonus.
