Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Legal Cashier for a law firm based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. You will be comfortable with taking responsibility for the firm’s financial matters and interests. You will benefit from 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, private healthcare insurance and personal training & development opportunities.Role ResponsibilitiesThe incoming Legal Cashier will maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including compliance with regulatory bodies and in accordance with Solicitors’ Accounts Rules. Key tasks in this job include:* Taking responsibility for the company’s financial matters and interests.* Recording all transactions in the appropriate manner.* Communicating with fee earners when receiving payments.* Keeping track of all banking on a daily basis and managing the accounts system.* Dealing with invoices to ensure they are paid on time.* Ensuring the efficient operation of the firm’s PAYE system.* Creating a monthly expense management report.Person SpecificationThe successful Legal Cashier will have previous Legal accounts experience as well as strong Microsoft Excel & Outlook experience.
