Legal Cashier
Full Time Permanent role - office based
Monday - Thursday 0900-1800 and Friday's 0900-1700
Workplace based in Haywards Heath plenty of parking on site. Short walk from nearest mainline station
Salary £38000 plus very good company benefits, which include healthcare, generous holiday allowance, company bonuses and regular company events.
The role:
Legal Cashier - preferably with experience of using Xero accounting software
Duties / Responsibilities will include:
- Invoicing
- Bank reconciliation
- Sales and purchase ledger
- Client/Office transfers
- CHAPS transfers, processing client payments, producing and checking completion statements and billing
- Receiving, checking and paying consultant invoices
- Paying supplier invoices
- VAT returns
- Month end reporting
- Monthly payroll processing
- Managing outstanding debts
- Keeping records up to date
Key skills and competencies required:
- Previous Legal Cashier experience
- An eye for detail - strong accuracy
- Good IT skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An ability to deal with a busy workload
- An enthusiasm to take on new challenges
