This role offers a unique chance to support our Group Chief Financial Officer & Anglian Water Services Finance Director who value excellence, efficiency, and strategic collaboration.
We are looking for a master multitasker, meticulous planner, and a communication maestro to join the Anglian Water team in shaping success at an Executive level, where your commitment & excellence will be rewarded.
What you'll be doing:
- Full and proactive diary management for Executives' very busy schedules - arrange all internal/external meetings, forward planning and coordination of meeting/briefing packs, in order to maximise Executives' time and efficiency.
- Full inbox management - proactively deal with emails or delegate to others, prioritise/flag urgent emails for attention.
- Organise all travel arrangements and accommodation (domestic and overseas).
- Coordinate and maintain Executives' Action List.
- Secretariat to designated groups and committees - agreeing agendas, arranging meetings, distributing packs, taking notes and drawing out actions to be monitored for completion.
- Support to the Senior Leadership Teams, ensuring their priorities are communicated.
- Work closely with CEO's office on Board and Shareholder business.
- Preparation of correspondence, presentations, reports and other material, as specified, to the highest of standards, utilising full range of Microsoft applications.
- Arranging venues, team events, catering, meeting rooms/tech as required and support on high-level visits and company events.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and their PAs.
- Ownership of other ad hoc projects as required.
- Routine admin tasks including expenses, team holidays/absence management, onboarding arrangements for new team members, upkeep of team Sharepoint sites.
- Member of Anglian Water Force and occasional support on operational incidents as needed.

- Proven experience working in a similar senior level role.
- Competence in working with the full MS Office suite along with being tech savvy.
- Capable of multi-tasking with a positive can-do attitude.
- Able to demonstrate confidentiality and trust.
- Able to demonstrate strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- High degree of diplomacy and tact.
- Impeccable correspondence skills and confident in communicating with executive stakeholders.
- First class interpersonal skills.
- Proactive organisation and scheduling of a very busy business diary.
- Ability to work proactively as well as reactively using own initiative.
