We are looking to recruit a Legal Cashier for a permanent opportunity with a well-regarded law firm based in Oldham.
Recent and relevant experience working as a Legal Cashier is essential for this position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the accounts department with posting client and office payments and receipts, reconciliations
- Posting payments on the case management system and on Bankline
- Assisting in preparing management reports and information through use of the case management system
- Archiving and storage of client’s confidential information and documents
- Recovery of the firms’ unpaid bills and liaising with fee earners to recoup aged debts
Person specification:
- Strong academic record.
- The ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Excellent organisation, presentation and communication skills.
- Reliable and diligent with good attention to detail.
- Self-motivation to work independently and as part of a team with a 'can do’ attitude.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- A positive approach to working under pressure in a busy environment.
