Legal Counsel - Asset Management

Our client is an international asset manager, headquartered in the USA with nearly $1 Trillion AUM. The UK and EMEA legal team is growing and consequently is seeking to hire a Solicitor to join the team and assist and advise on a range of matters including: * investment management agreements and related documentation with clients * reviewing client investment guidelines and negotiating broker terms of business * advising on alternative investment fund marketing requests in respect of prospects domiciled across the UK, Europe and the Middle East and providing regulatory adherence to marketing and distribution (MiFID) * maintaining overseas Asset Management licenses and establishing and maintaining foreign subsidiaries Candidate Requirements * Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years' PQE in an Asset Management environment, either in house or from a well regarded law firm * Experience in drafting and negotiating investment management agreements and broader commercial contracts / agreements * General knowledge of financial services law * Exceptional communication skills and being a strong team player are paramount This is a unique and exclusive role with one of the largest Asset Managers in the world.
