Heriot Brown has embarked on an exciting collaboration with a premier Sports Betting enterprise, propelling the expansion of their exceptional legal team to new heights!
As a true in-house generalist, you will play a pivotal role in their legal team, contributing to diverse matters while embracing the dynamism of the Sports Betting industry.
Primary Duties:
- Crafting and negotiating commercial agreements encompassing software, IT, and intellectual property for prominent partnerships, including collaborations with renowned sports and entertainment entities (internationally!)
- Offering counsel on intricate matters of regulatory adherence and compliance, spanning the intricate landscape of domestic and global wagering and gaming legislations and licensure.
- Dispensing expertise on diverse legal facets, from trademarks and copyright considerations to matters of intellectual property, data protection protocols, encompassing GDPR compliance, for the corporate cohort.
Desired Qualifications:
- Possession of 1-4 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE), with an interest in the Sports Betting industry.
- Demonstrated capacity for efficient organization, strategic prioritization, and adept planning, coupled with a genuine enthusiasm to broaden expertise and venture into supplementary legal domains.
