DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role
As Legal counsel you will play a crucial role within our international legal team, providing support to both our Commercial and Operational teams within the UK and Ireland, providing support to the Nordics as and when needed. This opportunity promises valuable hands-on experience and exposure to a dynamic legal environment.
As Legal Counsel, you will:
- Support the commercial and operational teams and advise them on corporate and contractual matters.
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (distribution, resale and supply agreements, T&Cs, sponsorship and marketing agreements, logistics agreements, NDAs, etc.)
- Review various agreements including services agreements, finance agreements, HR contracts, etc.
- Manage the annual compliance obligations and formalities (approval of annual accounts, dividend distribution, appointment/ renewal of directors, etc.).
- Manage litigation and pre-litigation and, where necessary, liaise with external advisors.
- Review and update contracts templates and, where appropriate, support localisation projects.
- Work with the Group Legal Counsel on various projects such as guidelines, process definition, implementation of a contractual tools, etc.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you
The ideal Legal Council candidate will have: #
- Master's degree in commercial, corporate or IP & technology law.
- Display strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Docusign and Adobe Pro.
- Exhibit excellent writing skills in English. Fluency in French is considered a plus.
- Demonstrated several successful experiences, preferably in the IT industry and in particular in an international company.
- Excellent organizational skills and a great work ethic
- Ability to work in a pressurised and fast-paced environment
