Due to this growth, as well as internal progression, they now have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Counselto join their in-house legal team. The successful Legal Counsel will have several years of experience in a similar senior legal role, and will have experience working in commercial property in a fast-paced environment either within practice or in a corporate organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating lease documentation with external solicitors
- Carrying out title reviews and circulating to internal teams
- Supporting development of standard legal documents and templates
- Reviewing and advising on commercial contracts
- Drafting and issuing of exclusivity agreements and NDAs
- Working closely with external solicitors and internal teams to ensure processes are followed
- Review of property searches
- HMLR applications
- Overseeing work of paralegals and legal assistants
Experience and Skills Requirements:
- At least three years of previous post-qualification legal experience in a similar position, either in a law firm or as a Legal Counsel in a corporate organisation
- Degree or CILEx education
- Experience of property law processes and procedures
- Experience with contract law
- Experience of commercial lease transactions
- High level of professionalism and personal integrity
- Outstanding written and spoken language
- Ability to work to deadlines, prioritise workload under pressure and manage conflicting priorities
- Ability to progress tasks using own initiative
- Proactive and tenacious
- Ability to solve problems
