The successful candidate will join the Public Protection unit which is responsible for appearing before the Local Magistrates Courts presenting a wide range of safeguarding applications on behalf of the Chief Constable including Domestic Violence Protection orders, sexual offender orders, closure orders and dangerous dog orders.
The successful candidate will be required to provide representation in courts across Cheshire, be responsible for the timely preparation of applications submitted to the court and hold conduct for an individual caseload of files.
In this role, you will be required to work as part of a busy and multi-disciplinary team, have the ability to proficiently use computer systems and already have or be willing to gain knowledge and understanding of emergency service related legislation.
We are seeking applications from candidates who are educated to Level 5 relevant to this role, namely a practicing solicitor, barrister, legal executive or hold the equivalent relevant experience.
