Job description

We are a leading global law firm with a comprehensive support team crucial to delivering exceptional client service across both our UK and international offices. Success for our teams hinges on adding value and effectively supporting our stakeholders. If you are driven by challenges, work well in a motivated team, possess a proactive attitude, and have strong communication skills, we are eager to welcome you. Our commitment to learning and development, fueled by a culture of feedback and innovative professional development strategies, is designed to enhance performance and continuous growth within our everyday work. Our global learning programs blend technical, business, and talent development skills.

Main Duties:

  • Focus on client needs, including regular stakeholder meetings to discuss actions, priorities, and future plans.
  • Efficient diary and travel management, foreseeing future requirements and proactively resolving scheduling conflicts.
  • Organise meetings, coordinate agendas, book travel, and ensure the availability of necessary equipment and resources for both in-person and virtual meetings.
  • Manage workflow, delegate tasks, and ensure successful completion of activities.
  • Serve as a key contact for clients and colleagues.
  • Handle calls and client interactions positively.
  • Support client needs during stakeholder absences and manage correspondence.
  • Advocate for and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain both paper and electronic files.
  • Manage expenses and utilise CRM for business management, including data management and research.
  • Adapt to flexible working patterns to meet stakeholder and client needs.
  • Provide extensive financial and administrative support, ensuring adherence to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the complete file management process and assist with creating presentations for stakeholder groups.

Role Expectations: The Legal PA position entails being an integral part of our Practice Group Support team, offering proactive and professional support to a specific group of stakeholders. This role demands excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to take full ownership of tasks. Our Legal PAs handle a diverse range of responsibilities and are encouraged to continuously develop their skills, setting an example for less experienced team members.

Desired Skills and Experience: We seek candidates with experience in similar roles, exceptional communication and organisational abilities, and a commitment to delivering superior client service. Problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple demands, and a strong team orientation are also important.

What We Offer: Our firm is dedicated to your well-being and professional growth, offering a range of benefits that include equitable and transparent rewards, flexible working arrangements, comprehensive health and wellness support, and a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion. We also provide extensive training and development opportunities, international exposure, and the chance to contribute through pro bono work and community involvement.

In our dynamic and collaborative work environment, we highly value the diversity of thoughts, skills, and perspectives, including yours. It's a vibrant, fast-paced setting where new challenges are always on the horizon, offering you widespread exposure across different regions and the entire organisation. Embracing the future and focusing on your growth and what lies ahead is crucial for your success and ours.
