Your experience as a Dispute Resolution / Litigation Legal Secretary is highly sought after by our client, who are an excellent law firm, located in Central London. They are seeking a skilled Legal Secretary to support their partners and fee earners in providing top-tier legal services to their diverse range of clients. As a key player in the team, you'll contribute to the continued enhancement of their working practices, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive secretarial support to partners and fee earners, ensuring efficient communication with the secretarial and administration team.
- Utilise BigHand and Outlook proficiently to prioritise tasks, delegate efficiently, and meet deadlines as part of the support pod.
- Produce accurate and timely invoices and narratives, contributing to departmental budget targets.
- Undertake various finance administration tasks meticulously, including receipt slips, transfer slips, write-offs, and disbursement payments.
- Manage correspondence, draft replies, and liaise with the document centre to maintain high-quality documentation aligned with the firm's house style.
- Implement effective filing, archiving, and document management systems to ensure organisational efficiency.
What Are They Looking For:
- Previous experience in a Dispute Resolution, Litigation or Corporate department of a law firm is essential.
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a proven record of excellent case management.
- Advanced IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Office packages, document management systems, and e-filing, with a minimum typing speed of 65wpm.
