Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Supporting a child with global delay
Milk Education are partnering with a local community Primary school in the Bootle area of Sefton ( L20 ) who are looking for an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support in a Reception class
As the Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will be working in a busy reception class in the school and support a child with their learning and development. The child has global delay and has a tailored learning plan, and you will be based in the main classroom.
There is a sensory room in the school which you can take the child anytime when they are overwhelmed or struggling in class.
This is a long-term role for the full academic year. The school has a lot of outdoor play and learning for EYFS classes.
Key Responsibilities as the Level 2 Teaching assistant:
* As the Level 2 teaching assistant, you will be working in a Reception class, previous experience working with children is required in either a Nursery, school, social care, or similar setting or completed a placement.
* As the part-time teaching assistant, you work closely with the class teacher and other Teaching Assistant to provide a safe environment and engaging lesson.
PLEASE NOTE – candidates without a qualification but with extensive experience (paid or voluntary) are also welcomed to apply, also if you have any personal experience with SEN with family/friends or different work setting, please get in touch.
