BMW Financial Services, Farnborough – Level 4 IT Business Analyst - 18-month Apprenticeship.
Our Summit ONE in Farnborough is home to the National Sales Company for the BMW Group in the UK, as well as BMW Group Financial Services which offers retailers, corporate, and private customers a range of customised financial services. Alphabet (GB) Ltd. as a leading provider of Business Mobility Services is also located in Farnborough. We decided in November 2020 to bring together BMW Financial Services and Alphabet to stay relevant to our customers and continue to succeed in a rapidly changing business environment.

We are looking for four apprentices to join the following IT teams:- Business Mobility, Application Management, Contract Management and Customer Relationship Management. Using Agile methodology these teams are responsible for the complete analysis of business situations in order to define project problem statements, high-level requirements and evaluation of the options available to the Business.
We must determine and use best practices to define effective solutions to meet business requirements and solve complex business and IT problems and issues, including acting on the wider business implications of change to current and future systems. In doing so we will liaise with UK business and IT teams across various BMW Group businesses and functions to identify synergies and opportunities to implement harmonised solutions.
What will you be doing?
The IT Business Analyst apprentice will:
•Effectively capture, document and manage business needs, including shaping and scoping ideas, aligning to business strategy and business goals, eliciting business requirements, and ensuring traceability of requirements throughout the Product / Project lifecycle.
•Integrate new processes and system capabilities developed into the organisation.
•Identify, propose and implement processes and system capabilities in order to meet changing business requirements and statutory/regulatory requirements.
•Ensure co-operation in cross-functional teams and via the international IT organisation.

During the 18-month apprenticeship alongside your practical experience you will study towards the achievement of a Business Analyst qualification at Level 4 and a BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis.

Training
During the 18-month apprenticeship alongside your practical experience you will study towards the achievement of a Business Analyst qualification at Level 4 and a BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis.
