The Combe Grove Estate came under the guardianship of the Elmhurst Foundation Charitable Trust in March 2017 with 3 principle aims to practice and increase knowledge in the field of health and wellbeing, create 90 high-quality enhanced apprenticeships and to share facilities and expertise for the benefit of the local community.
Our stunning location informs all that we do. Located within 70 acres of woodland and meadow, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Bath. The Team combines the latest medical research with the restorative power of nature to help those who pass through the Estate to reconnect with the primary needs of mind and body and leave with a greater sense of wellness, increased vitality and a sense of restored calm.
About the role
We are actively recruiting for a Level 5 People Professional apprentice to join our amazing team. You will be part of the dynamic and high-performing Combe Grove team supporting the organisation to meet its objectives through the people agenda and relative initiatives, using data to provide insights into trends and issues and presenting solutions to deal with them.
You will provide people expertise to give advice, views, and challenge to the organisation, including specific advice on interpretation of applicable policies and employment law. Maintaining knowledge of both internal and external environments you will contribute to the review and update of people policies and processes to ensure that they are in line with legislative requirements.
Taking an active role in recruiting and developing across a wide variety of roles you will have a high level of effective communication and influence whilst employing evidenced based decision making, keeping up to date with emerging thinking and people trends.
About You
Highly motivated with a dedication to continued personal development and a passion for health and wellbeing, you are approachable with a proven track record of demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills.
You are solutions focussed and experienced in working calmly under pressure contributing structure and processes that optimise the organisations work. You have effective planning and organisation skills, leading by example in an emphatic, fair and consistently professional manner.
Proactive and positive you are dependable with a commitment to maintaining high standards and integrity. You have strong time management skills, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
Working Times
Total 40 hours excluding breaks each week, working eight hours between 0830-1700, five days a week.
