Tate are working with a well-known local authority in their search for Library Assistants to start ASAP on a temporary basis.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting customers on the front desk with any queries
- Helping customers on the self-scan area
- Respond to requests, enquiries or complaints which are made either face to face, by email, in writing or by telephone
- Organising and tidying up books
- Handling cash and receipts
16 hours per week: Based at Stockwood/Whitchurch/Hartcliffe Libraries and working Mon 12.30-5, Thurs 12.30-5, Fri 12.15-2.45, Sat 9.30-2
21 hours per week: Based at Sea Mills/Shirehampton/Avonmouth Libraries working: Mon 9.45-2, Tues 9.45-2, Wed 9.45-2, Thurs 9.45-2, Sat 9.45-2
15.5 hours per week: Wick Road/Filwood/Knowle Libraries working: Tues 12.15-2.45, Wed 12.15-2.45, Thurs 12.15-2.45, Fr 12.15-2.45, Sat 10.30-5
12.5 hours per week: Fishponds/Hillfields/St George/Junction 3/St Pauls Libraries working: Tues 12-2.30, Wed 12-2.30, Fri 12-2.30, Sat 12.30-5
