Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Lifestyle Support Workers to join our team. As a Lifestyle Support Worker, you will provide assistance to individuals in need, including seniors, individuals with disabilities. Your role will involve various duties such as companionship, medication monitoring, meal preparation, and offering emotional support, maybe a little housework or shopping. Duties:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals in need
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Offer emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs
- Engage in activities that promote physical and mental stimulation
- Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition or behaviour
Skills:
- Valid driver's license for transportation purposes
- Experience or knowledge in nursing or healthcare field is preferred
- Familiarity with Dementia care is a plus
- Capable of heavy lifting when necessary
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds
- Excellent meal preparation skills
