Job description
As a Live Service Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
- Handling and resolving Live Service requests via the workflow management system within time frames governed by our Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Working closely with the UKSV Helpdesk, ensuring that all information required for the thorough investigation of issues and problems has been obtained.
- Account creation and access management on the vetting platform and other systems.
- Maintaining and updating databases.
- Identification and escalation of Live Service incidents to the Platform Desk Manager.
- Occasional management of Live Service incidents.
- Liaising with external public sector and commercial third parties to ensure the fulfilment of service requests, maintenance of service and resolution of Live Service incidents.
- Occasionally travelling within the UK, including overnight stays for short periods.
Person specification
As a Live Service Analyst within UK Security Vetting, we are looking for people who have the following expertise and attributes:
- A good team player.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Willingness to identify potential process improvements and take the lead in delivering solutions.
- Good communication skills (both written and oral).
- Excellent IT skills and knowledge.
- Ability to work at pace with a high level of accuracy.

- Comfortable liaising with people around the business and external stakeholders at a range of grades/levels.
Additional information:
A minimum 60% of your working time should be spent at your principal workplace. Although requirements to attend other locations for official business will also count towards this level of attendance.
